Br Iftikhar Khan
I am engineer by profession possessing basic knowledge of Arabic as well. I am originally from Pakistan but have lived in USA & UAE before settling in New Zealand. While traveling in Arab countries, Europe and China I have closely observed Islam and Muslim culture. I was an active member of Muslim community in Wanganui, where I have lived for 12 years, before moving to Rotorua. By the grace of ALLAH SWT, I deliver Friday Sermon and occasionally lead the Prayers as well.
As an active member of Rotorua Islamic Association I participate in community affairs and support community activities in line with Islamic values.

Assalam Wa Alaykum and Kia Ora. I am originally from Sabah, Malaysia. It is a privilege to call Rotorua my home since December 2019. I have a special interest in the art of Quranic recitation. My hope is that Rotorua Islamic Association will be an important part of the local community in promoting peace and unity. Ngā mihi.

Dr. Amin Pathan
I am an academic by profession with interest in biosecurity and fundamental science aspects of nature and its impacts on primary industries, environment and people. I am originally from India and lived in England, Australia and in Rotorua for over 15 years and actively got involved in since 2019 in the local community tasked with facilitating a suitable and spacious Masjid for the Rotorua Muslims. I had been instrumental in identifying and facilitating the purchase of Rotorua Masjid and Islamic Centre for the benefit of community.

Br Arif Jalil
I am a Kiwi of of Indo-Fijian descent living in New Zealand since the beginning of 2006. I have been living in Rotorua since April 2015 with the exception of 2017 when I was out of New Zealand. I have over 25 years of experience in the Photogrammetry and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) field. I hold a Diploma in Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation specialising in Digital Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing from the International Institute for Geo-Information and Earth Observation (ITC) now a Faculty University of Twente, The Netherlands. I have been working in the forestry Industry GIS section Since October 2008.

I'm telecom engineer by profession, after completing my studies from Oxford, UK, I worked for Huawei Technologies and Ericsson as Backoffice IN Manager.
Currently working with Rotorua Lakes Council as an Analyst.

I am originally from India. I lived and worked in UAE for nine years. I am passionate about and engaged in truck and trailer manufacturing industry. I have lived in Rotorua since 2014 and have been actively involved with Rotorua Islamic Association since then
